Summary: 
Our client is a FMCG company looking to hire a Data Analyst - CEWA. 


Role Purpose:
  • To lead the DSIM reporting, IMS tracking and Data Orbis data management.
  • To prepare/update business reports that will help steer the business
  • To work with trade partners, sales controllers and distributors to ensure accurate sell-out and stock data reporting and insightful analysis for business decisions
Key Responsibilities:
  
DSIM, IMS distributor data management:
  • Plan data deliveries and communicate deadlines to the Distributors as per DISM requirements.
  • Monitor monthly data deliveries from the distributors and process the quality validation, drive corrections on the distributor side.
  • Ensure the correct master data maintenance in the system relating to end customers, channels, etc.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of the data loaded into DISM vs the raw data shared by the distributors
  • Raise the necessary change requests to the CoE team (Centre of Excellence) if the above reconciliation does not match.
  • Handle communication with the distributors to request for sample files and historical data, drive corrections if any and to agree on deadlines for sharing IMS
  • Drive the on-boarding of new distributors into the DISM platform together with CoE team
  • Managing communication with Data Orbis regarding the reporting of data, master data, timelines, etc.
  • Conduct checks to ensure the quality of sell-out and stock data reported by the distributor.
Reports to steer the business.
  • Update the weekly IMS tracker for CEWA to be share with the management on a weekly basis.
  • Update the Sell in- Sell out tracker to be shared with the relevant teams monthly
  • Prepare / Update the Daily Sales Report (DSR) and share with the relevant teams.
  • Support in pricing maintenance in the SAP for the CEWA markets.
  • Conduct periodic pricing checks in the SAP to ensure no unauthorized changes to the pricing or errors.
  • Support in the stock audit of the distributors on periodic basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Business related Bachelors’ Degree from a reputable University
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a similar role
  • Highly analytical-minded who enjoys working with numbers
  • Well organized with good attention to detail
  • Great team player
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Good communication and Presentation skills
  • Commercial-minded and strong focus on efficiency
  • Good IT literacy and competency in using online data management and reporting portals is a distinct advantage)
