international companies in East and Southern Africa is looking for a Stores
Officer for
one of the companies in South Sudan.
The Ideal candidate should
have 3 Years’ experience in a busy forest company.
One Month paid leave every 5
months of work.
Annual bonus at the
discretion of the employer

Inventory
- Stores
Administrative support
- Stores Control
Measures
- Overall
workshop management
- Responsible
for all stores issuance and receipts
- Fuel
management and issuance
- Proper record
keeping of all consumables
- Raising of
purchase orders to relevant department managers.
- Keeping track
of stock levels of all spare parts and ensuring all are within boundaries.
- Ensuring all
relevant depart heads are updated on areas touching on their
jurisdictions.
- Ensuring the
control mechanisms are implemented and followed to the latter.
- Preparing
monthly stock takes and valuations
- Ensuring
proper documentation of each department’s use of spares and consumables
- Sharing the
Reports of usage with the Finance team monthly.
- Booking all
receipts of spares and or purchases through the stores.
- Any other
duties that might be allocated by the line Manager and or senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor
degree in Procurement and Supplies or related field.
- Must have a
minimum of 3 years’ experience in stock control.
- Good
analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
- High
professional integrity and organizational skills
- Forest company
and specifically in the stores keeping department.
- Computer
literate and good command of excel
- Able to
clearly write and understand English
- Self-motivated
and with initiative
Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 100,000 (Approx.
1000 USD)
