The ICRC Logistic Support
Centre in Nairobi (Industrial Area) is seeking an experienced & highly
motivated individual to fill the position of Storekeeper in its Nairobi Medical Warehouse and Mombasa Warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise safe
offloading of consignment arriving into the warehouse and ensure they have
proper waybills and packing lists:
- Ensure proper
storage, safety and security of the warehouse goods;
- Checking the
room temperatures in all store rooms in the medical warehouse;
- Picking and
packing consignment;
- Ensure correct
count and weight of parcels and supervise the loading of the consignments
for dispatch;
- Handle all
issues concerning stocks in the warehouse;
- Participate in
the monthly physical stocktaking
- Responsible
for the reconciliation of the stocks with the supervisor after internal
stock count;
- Custodian of
stock adjustments and all claims in the ERP system;
- Assign and
allocate duties to the warehouse clerks;
Minimum Requirements
- Academic: Min
‘O’ Levels;
- Certificate in
Stores Management or its equivalent;
- Minimum 2
years’ experience in a similar position;
- Excellent
computer skills required preferably with ERP;
