Internal Auditor
We are currently recruiting in Kenya
for our client a leading FMCG require :
Responsibilities
·
Executing specific audit assignments
as dictated by the audit plan;
·
Identifying and discussing all
control weaknesses and recommendations for efficiency with management;
·
Identifying and communicating
apparent failures in the control framework within the process;
·
Maintaining accurate records to support
and satisfy audit tests;
·
Identifying and promoting good
business practice within the company;
·
Monitoring implementation status of
past audit recommendations;
·
Ensuring Group policies and
procedures are universally applied.
·
Supervises junior auditors assigned
to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables
·
Ensures audit conclusions are based
on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk
·
Develops audit programs and testing
procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
·
Ensures adherence at all times to all
applicable department and professional standards
·
Communicates assigned tasks to
engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality,
accurate, and efficient results.
·
Any other role assigned by the
Internal Audit Manager.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant
discipline, like Commerce, accounting, economics etc from a recognised
university.
·
Fully qualified CPA (K) or ACCA. CIA
and CISA is an added advantage.
·
Minimum four (4) years’ experience in
external or internal audit with a reputable firm.
·
Excellent report writing skills.
·
Excellent data analysis and
interpretation.
·
Experience in information system
audits will be an added advantage.
