Head of Finance

Reporting to the Chief
Executive Officer, the Head of Finance is responsible for developing and
executing the finance management functions of KTB including accounting,
finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations with
funds and banks.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide
financial planning to support the corporate strategy and be the custodian
of financial plans and financial resource utilisation;
- Mentor, coach
and provide leadership to the Finance team;
- Develop and
review KTB’s financial internal control systems;
- Ensure that
financial reports are accurate and delivered on a timely basis and provide
the required information and advice to the CEO and other departments;
- Coordinate the
auditing of KTB’s financial statements, respond to audit queries and
ensure implementation of audit recommendations; and

financial advice to the management and Board of Directors.

- Bachelors of
Commerce degree (Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field);
- Master’s in
Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field);
- Must be Certified
Public Accountant: CPA and/or ACCA); and
- At least 8
years’ experience with at five (5) years served in a senior management
position.

for developing and executing human resource and administration strategies
including talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, change
management, reward management, employee relations and administration to achieve
KTB’s corporate objectives.

- Develop,
implement and review human capital management policies, strategies and
systems to ensure that KTB attracts, retains and motivates talented staff;

implement and review administration policies, strategies and systems to
ensure delivery of quality services to internal customers;

seamless inter-departmental linkages by ensuring that human resource is
effectively used to support the key objectives of KTB to increase
productivity and increase results in order to ensure internal and external

- Bachelor’s

- MBA in a
relevant field;

elaborating the marketing strategy and implementation of the plans of action,
ensuring KTB remains competitive.

Strategy, ensuring that it responds to the national strategy and tourism
sector plans, including Vision 2030;

at the local, regional and national levels;
- Forge
strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to
evaluate and recommend destination development initiatives that improve

- Oversee the

Marketing, the Events and Exhibitions Manager is responsible for overseeing the
design of concepts for each exhibition that KTB participates in as well as
organizing events including but not limited to fairs, fam-trips, press-trips
and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that
the Exhibition Unit is effectively used to support the business objectives
of KTB;
- Based on the
requirements of the Marketing Department, design KTB’s events plan;
- Provide end to
end planning and logistics services to the rest of KTB in the organisation
of events including negotiating on exhibition locations, materials, space
and cost and managing external suppliers; and
- Monitor and
evaluate the exhibitions’ effectiveness as a marketing tool.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Interior Design, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Public
Relations or related field;
- Postgraduate
in Project Management or Marketing is desirable;
- Diploma in
Design, Marketing, Public Relations or in a related field; and

(5) years proven experience as an Event Manager.
