A newly established start up farm
focusing on Vegetables, Fruits, Poultry and Animal production is recruiting for
various positions.
Farm Manager
Directly accountable for the general
management of the Farm to deliver profitability, farm operations and general
maintenance of crops and animals.
Qualifications
·
Certificate or Diploma in
Agriculture, Farm management, Horticulture or Animal production.
·
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a
busy farm that grows both fruits & vegetables and keeps animals (especially
beef cows, goats and sheep).
·
Should be conversant with greenhouse
technology.
·
Must demonstrate in-depth
understanding of agronomic requirements for production of high quality
products.
·
Should be able to create and sustain
a huge client base for consumption of farm produce.
Farm Attendants – Crops, Poultry and
Animals
This is routine manual work in
specialized farming activities on the farm depending on qualifications and
experience.
The work involves performing a
variety of unskilled or semi-skilled farming related tasks in accordance with
specific instructions or a well-established routine.
Qualifications
·
A certificate in Agriculture, Animal
husbandry, horticulture or related field.
·
KCSE/KCPE certificate with relevant
work experience in a busy commercial farm will be considered.
Herdsmen
·
Responsible for all care, feeding and
maintenance of animals.
Qualifications
·
KCSE/KCPE with prior experience in a
big farm with large herds of cattle preferred.
