Retail Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya

We are looking for retail manager for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Nairobi Kenya.

Responsibilities: The Retail Manager’ role is to manage the store and ensure their staff give great customer service. He/she as is also responsible for financial and people management.

Specific Duties

·         Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff

·         Managing budgets

·         Maintaining statistical and financial records

·         Planning

·         Promoting and marketing the business

·         Dealing with customer queries and complaints

·         Overseeing pricing and stock control

·         Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets

·         Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

·         Preparing promotional materials and displays

Job Skills and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Procurement / Sales and Marketing / any business related course.

·         At least 3 years of experience serving in the same capacity

·         Excellent communication and ‘people’ skills.

·         Able to work under pressure and handle challenging situations

·         Sound decision-making and sense of responsibility.

·         Excellent IT and numerical skills

·         Well organized and able to work as a team

·         Commercial awareness

·         Relationship management skills
