Hasbah Kenya Limited one of the leading FMCG distributor in Kenya, are seeking to recruit highly ambitious candidates to fill in the following positions in Kenya:

Van Sales Representatives
 
The VSR is accountable for delivering superior volume, coverage, distribution and In-store presence (Distribution, Pricing, shelving and Merchandising as per standards) in all the VSR stores of your section. 

The VSR reports to the Distributor Extension Manager. The positions are in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Nyeri
 


Principal Accountabilities
  • Deliver volume, coverage and sales fundamentals targets
  • Deliver product on a regular basis determined by a delivery plan and set route to a specific set of customers within the agreed window of time.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing an efficient, reliable, friendly and courteous service to all customers
  • Maintain the highest standard of service by maintaining the required supply of stock to ensure a 100% service level with no ‘stock outs’ (Including Merchandising Plano-gram / counting stock / replenish / collect Sale or Return products) to the highest standard.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and maintain up to date information regarding new initiatives, prices, promotions, new product listings and product de-lists.
  • Provide information and feedback to the Van Sales Supervisor, on Customer requirements and competitor activity on your route
You Will Responsible / Accountable For:-
  • The goods loaded into the back of your van and for accountable for stock take purposes.
  • Targets of the month (volume, distribution)
  • Bad debts
  • The correct use of and maintenance of all equipment supplied by the company.
  • Completing all of the “end day” tasks
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Diploma or Certificate in relevant field is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3years in sales
  • A valid Driving License –Class BCE
  • Good understanding of basic computer skills
  • Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building


Key Account Handler – Wholesale Business
 
The Key Account Handler -Wholesale is accountable for delivering superior volume and Distribution in all the Wholesale stores assigned. 

The KAH reports to the Wholesale Channel Head. 

The positions are in Nairobi & Mombasa.
 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Develop and build excellent account relationships with Wholesalers to leverage on business opportunities
  • To identify and evaluate market opportunities related to the assigned account 
  • To coordinate the work closely with Key Wholesalers to ensure non-disruptions in the service levels
  • Negotiate with customers on hot spots and extra displays
  • Able to design trade investment plan to derive sales growth and profitability focusing on the right band and SKU mix
  • Plan and draw up the monthly sales promotions, yearly cumulative sales performance, market and category performance.
  • Feedback on all forms of competitor activities
  • Conduct prospects for new clients to identify and develop new accounts.
  • Increase sales and supervise the sales process by following up on orders, deliveries and collections.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly sales reports.
  • Ensure payment of receivables in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships in order to build strong loyalty.
  • Handle and respond to existing products queries from clients quickly, effectively and accurately.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience handling Wholesale accounts.
  • Experience and knowledge in field sales especially FMCG
  • Must have a valid driving licence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Honest and a person of integrity.


Key Account Manager
 
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be actively involved in ensuring increased sales productivity and revenues, manage key accounts, increase and product availability in the stores covered. 

The KAH reports to the Trade Marketing Manager.

The positions are in Nakuru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Mombasa, Eldoret & Nairobi
 

Principal Accountabilities
  • To apply and practice imperatives for strategic Key Account Management approach and decision
  • Develop and build excellent account relationships with Key Account customers such as large and medium retail stores to leverage on business opportunities
  • Develop and implement annual Joint Business Plan and business review with retailers and principal
  • To formulate and execute objectives, plans and strategies
  • To identify and evaluate market opportunities related to the assigned account
  • To coordinate the work closely with Key retailers to ensure non-disruptions in the service levels
  • To coordinate executions of agreements and promotions with the sales force
  • Negotiate with store managers to increase facings on home shelf and ancillary space a head of designated competitor facings, and extra displays
  • Able to design trade investment plan to derive sales growth and profitability focusing on the right band and SKU mix
  • Evaluate promotion effectiveness to maximize ROI
  • Plan and draw up the monthly sales promotions, quarterly customer reviews, yearly cumulative sales performance, market and category performance.
  • Feedback on all forms of competitor activities
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience handling Key Accounts Sales (Tier 1 & 2).
  • Experience and knowledge in field sales especially FMCG
  • Must have a valid driving licence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Honest and a person of integrity.
  • Good in data analysis and presentation


Key Account Handler – Sub Distributors
 
The Key Account Handler – Sub Distributors is accountable for delivering superior volume and superior In-store presence (Distribution, Coverage, Pricing, shelving, Merchandising and Visibility) in all the Sub Distributor covered stores. 

The Key Accounts Handler reports to the Distributor Extension Manager.
 

The positions are in Kisumu, Nakuru, Nyeri, Mombasa, Eldoret & Nairobi
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Deliver volume, coverage, distribution and sales fundamentals targets through Sub Distributors
  • Capacity Building: - Responsible for training, coaching, and tracking results of Sub D reps following EDAC cycle (Educate, Demonstrate, apply, consolidated) and tracking results via daily sales reports and spot-checks in the field.
  • Coverage and quality distribution manager; - Responsible for selling volume, Distribution, shelving, pricing, merchandising and also key initiatives (i.e. new products, new package and category management) to all the retail customers through the Sub-D and their sales repsin the assigned regions.
  • Sub-Ds recruitment: - identifying and developing new and potential SUB-Ds.
  • Accounting Managers: - ensuring that all the Sub Distributors are profitable and sustainable.
  • Execution manager: -deployment and tracking of initiatives.
  • Achieving Volume and Sub-ds other set targets.
  • Quality data gathering and sharing (Distributor Sales Representatives, retail audits, etc.)
  • Responsible for perfect reporting of the stores data.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • MUST have a valid Driving license and know how to drive
  • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
  • 3-4 years’ experience working in the FMCG with at least 1 year as a Supervisor
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet targets
  • Experience in sales is a must


Channel Manager (Distribution)
 
The Channel Manager Distribution is accountable for the whole general trade channel that (includes Sub Distributors & Van sales) delivering superior coverage, distribution, visibility and volume Nationally.

The incumbent will report to the National Sales Manager. The position is in Nairobi
 

Principal Accountabilities
  • In charge of the general trade Channel which includes all Sub Distributor business and Van business nation wide
  • Responsible for the Distribution, Coverage, Visibility, Volume and Sales targets nationally ensuring the quality execution of customer based design fundamentals in store. ie: Distribution of all cores SKU’s, retail pricing objectives met, shelving and merchandising targets met van selling success criteria met or exceeded in all covered areas.
  • Set and track monthly sales targets per brand, per SKU, per Rep, Per region monthly
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support service and management of resources in order to meet set performance objectives and expectations
  • Responsible for selling to all the retail customers through the Sub-D captains and sales representatives
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new and potential SUB DS
  • Responsible for training, coaching, and tracking results of sub d captains following EDAC cycle (Educate, Demonstrate, apply, consolidated) and tracking results via daily sales reports and sport-check in the field.
  • Responsible for perfect reporting of the sales data to the National Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all the Sub Distributors are profitable and sustainable
  • Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reports.
  • Handle and respond to existing products queries from clients quickly, effectively and accurately.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience handling General Trade with 2 years in managerial positions.
  • Experience and knowledge in field sales especially FMCG
  • Must have a valid driving licence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A person of integrity with good business acumen
  • Excellent data analysis and presentation skills
