Overall Responsibility: To ensure
cash transactions comply with the cash management policy.
Agency
Clerk Job Duties and Responsibilities
o Timely and accurate posting of cash transactions
o Daily cash reconciliations
o Ensure that the relevant agency / cash transaction books are up
to date
o Receive cash from clients and disbursing of loan in cash to
clients while adhering to the cash management policy.
o Maintaining on a daily basis a list of all cash received and
cash disbursed.
o Ensuring all cash is well recorded and stored as per the cash
management policy
o Responding to customer queries and advising them accordingly
o Growing the agency business and ensuring on a daily basis a
minimum of 20 clients are served
o Filing of documents
o Data entry
o Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
and Experience for the Agency Clerk Job
o CPA II
o Must have at least ( 1) one year experience within the
financial/microfinance sector
o Proficiency in computer packages
o Minimum of a C in KCSE
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o A person of high integrity
o Certificate of good conduct is mandatory for this position
