Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

Reporting to 
the Head, Corporate Banking,

Main responsibilities:
  • Developing strategies for servicing the Corporate Banking segments in the country while increasing share of wallet to ensure acceptable return on equity through appropriate pricing and products cross-sell
  • Preparing exceptional credit submissions and annual reviews, while maintaining an understanding of the customer's sector and associated markets for purposes of structuring superior Corporate Banking solutions
  • Enhancing client retention by providing a one-stop point of contact for all the clients' needs and requirements while providing world class customer service
  • Identifying growth sectors within the operating environment and spearheading entry and follow-through into these sectors
  • Establishing and developing various sales strategies to meet ever changing customer needs in liaison with the New Product Development Team
  • Monitoring of facility utilization and improving of income streams and maximizing returns
  • Maintaining, acquiring and reactivating customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix
Qualifications
  • University Graduate in a business related field. Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • At least five years cognate experience coupled with extensive knowledge of driving Sales
  • Excellent inter personal skills, networking skills and negotiation skills
  • In-depth analytical skills, with a strong commercial acumen and focus on credit quality
  • A demonstrated ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external parties
  • Hardworking, self-driven individual with a passion for performance, team play and achievement in a competitive environment
Relationship Managers - Public Sector

Reporting to
 the Head of Public Sector 

Main responsibilities will involve:
  • Managing portfolio growth for Public Sector clients such as Parastals, Central Government and Country Governments.
  • Developing strategies for servicing the Public Sector and Institutional clients in the country while establishing key banking relationships with these segments to grow wallet share and enhance the relationships
  • Enhancing client retention and cross-sell of other bank products to contribute to the bank’s bottom line
  • To enhance the bank’s visibility through partnering with various Public Sector obtaining feedback from them and recommending/implementing appropriate solutions to meet and exceed their various banking needs
  • Maintaining, acquiring and reactivating customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix while driving and delivering exceptional sales targets
Qualifications
  • University Graduate in a business related field degree. Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • At least five years cognate experience with extensive knowledge of driving Sales in the Public Sector and Institutional clients

Branch Managers

Main responsibilities will involve:
  • Running effective and efficient branches leading to higher staff engagement, customer satisfaction, profitability and growth in line with the Bank’s strategy
  • Formulation, development and implementation of the branch business plans, targets and strategy while continuously reviewing performance against set targets to ensure the branch remains profitable and on course
  • Ensuring that Branch targets on creation of quality risk assets and deposit mobilization are met and surpassed through effective relationship management and supervision of Branch staff
  • Continuously Identifying and developing new and profitable businesses and sales volumes for all bank products at the branch while ensuring active cross-selling of all bank products
  • Building and deepening relationships with existing and new clients to achieve an increase in share of wallet and revenues
  • Managing relationships by driving the Customer Service effort in order to protect the Bank’s exposure while maximizing returns in a manner consistent with the business strategy
  • Continuously analyzing revenue streams from the various Business Development functions while spearheading all direct selling activities of the branch
  • Providing over-sight for the co-ordination and management of all business aspects of the branch involving sales and marketing, customer service, human resources, finance and all key operational issues
Qualifications
  • University Graduate in a business related field. Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • At least five years cognate experience within the banking sector.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, organizational, and inter personal skills
  • Excellent networking skills and a sound knowledge of the banking environment
  • Hardworking, self-driven individual with a passion for performance, team play and achievement in a competitive environment.
  • Must also possess a proven track record in Branch Management
Salary scale is  Kshs. 100,000 to Kshs. 250,000
