Main Purpose of the Job: 
Reporting to the Fleet Coordinator, the successful candidate will ensure quality and quantity of loaded product is delivered at a customer’s site.

Key summary responsibilities include:-
  • Ensure smooth transit of trucks
  • Ensure delivery of product in correct quantity and quality.
  • Prompt  reporting and recording of  incidents and accidents
  • Ensure driver discipline on route
  • Minimize delays at border points and swift turnaround.
Knowledge, skills & experience requirements:-
  • O’ level or equivalent
  • Mechanic skill and experience will be a PLUS
  • Valid certificate of good conduct
  • Valid driving license with 3 years driving experience
  • Valid Passport
  • Ready to travel 90% of work time within East & Central Africa
Health, Safety & Environment Officer (1)

Main Purpose of the Job: 
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that Safety, Health, Environment policies and standards and best practises are adhered to and maintained across the company.

Key summary responsibilities include:-
  • Ensure a safe work environment without risk to health.
  • Ensure that all health & safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are communicated when reviewed and updated.
  • Ensure that the company meets statutory requirements in areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare.
  • Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended mitigations implemented.
  • Develop, plan and conduct training for company staff on HSE programs and procedures as directed.
  • Assist with HSE inspections and audits and follow up on mitigations for gaps identified.
  • Ensure timely and efficient response to incident investigations and prepare reports.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on regulatory compliance.
Knowledge, skills & experience requirements:-
  • Prefer Diploma and above in Occupational, Health and Safety Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience gained in a comparable job.
  • Good experience in operationalization of the OSHA 2007.
  • Technical writing is a PLUS.
Depot Clerks (4)

Main Purpose of the Job: 
Reporting to the Fleet Coordinator, the successful candidate will coordinate loading and dispatch of trucks at the depot.

Key summary responsibilities include:-
  • Ensure all loading and offloading documents are properly tracked from depot to Nakuru office. 
  • Daily accurate update of trucks that have been dispatched.
  • Follow up on loading and dispatch of trucks at the depot.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly filled out at loading.
  • Ensure trucks availed are at the loading point when and as needed and cleared on time.
  • Ensuring custody of physical documents
Knowledge, skills & experience requirements:-
  • Diploma in Business related course
  • One (1) year of experience in busy petroleum depot operations a MUST.
  • Knowledge of health ,safety and environment of a depot;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;
  • Team player;
