WARNING! Job Seekers Beware - Kenya Ports Authority Sham Recruitment Drive

Kenya Ports Authority

Notice to the Public

Sham Recruitment Drive

The attention of the Management of the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has been drawn to reported incidences of forged letters and other promissory notes regarding employment at the Authority.

Some individuals masquerading as officials or representatives of the Authority have been contacting unsuspecting members of the public with offers of recruitment at the Authority, at a fee.

The fraudsters have forged KPA’s letterheads and signatures of senior managers to hoodwink the unsuspecting citizens.

We therefore advise members of the public to beware of such conmen/fraudsters and to immediately report any such incidents to the Authority or the nearest Police Station.

As a good corporate citizen, KPA is committed to best practice and the principles of transparency and equal employment opportunities to all, when such opportunities arise, as enunciated in the Constitution of Kenya.

We wish to bring to the attention of the general public that the Authority is NOT currently undertaking the said recruitments and where any vacancy arises, it shall be advertised in the local dailies and on the official KPA website: www.kpa.co.ke

Further, it should be noted that all  recruitment activities in KPA are free of any payments.
