World
Vision Kenya is a child focused Christian humanitarian, relief, development and
advocacy non-governmental organization with projects in most parts of
Kenya.
World
Vision Kenya has an existing Intermediate Board in line with the World Vision
Partnership policies.
Collectively, the qualified candidates should represent a
relevant diversity in experience, competence, age, gender, church affiliation,
ethnicity and geographic backgrounds.
Desired
Areas of Expertise:
- Water,
Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
- Education
- Basic Education
- Livelihoods
and Climate Change
- Health
especially Paediatric, Nutrition and HIV and AIDS
Key Competencies / Skills:
- English
language fluency (written and verbal).
- Good
communication skills including public speaking and presentation skills
- Must
be a committed Christian who participates in the worship and life of a
local church (a Trinitarian denomination)
- Willing
and able to devote significant time (minimum of 12 days) during each
calendar year to Board and committee service on a voluntary basis.

Vision Kenya employee

a former National Director of WV Kenya, who served in that capacity during
the previous three years
- Good
reputation in the country for character and competence.
- Willing
to subscribe and adhere to the Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement
of Faith, Covenant of Partnership and other applicable WVI Board-approved
policies
- Former
sponsored children/ direct beneficiaries of World Vision are encouraged to
apply
