Program
Manager - Sub

Africa Economic Justice Program
About the Program
Diakonia is a Swedish Faith Based Development Organization that works together with local partner organizations for sustainable change for the most vulnerable people in the world. We work for a just, equal and sustainable world to change political, economic, social and cultural structures that cause poverty, inequality, oppression and violence. We work in 9 countries in Africa with our Regional Office based in Nairobi.
The
Africa Economic Justice (AEJ) Program is a regional program, implemented by
Diakonia Regional Office in Nairobi. Through this program, Diakonia wants to
reinforce its work to influence and change structural root causes of poverty
and injustice in Africa. The program is implemented in collaboration with about
12 partner organizations/networks based in different countries in Africa.
The
AEJ partners are specialized in social and economic justice issues, mainly
addressing these through research, training and advocacy. They have a regional
outreach and the work is also closely linked to policy processes at global
