KAMP-PRISK Regional Managers - Southern Nyanza &
Western Regions
Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) and Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK) are Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) licensed by the Kenya Copyright Board under Section 46 (2) of the Copyright Act 2001 to represent producers of sound recordings and performers of audio and audio-visual works respectively.
General
Purpose: KAMP-PRISK
seeking to fill the position of Regional Managers (RMs) for Southern Nyanza
Region (Kisii, Nyamira, Homabay & Migori counties) and Western Region
(Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia & Bungoma counties) whose primary duty shall be
managing licensing and other operational activities within the region.
The
Regional Manager shall co-ordinate regional licensing activities, develop,
establish and maintain collecting strategies and oversee other operations of
the Societies in Southern Nyanza & Western Regions.
The
successful candidate shall be required to develop effective management plans of
the regional licensing activities.
The
Regional Manager shall report to the Head of Licensing, KAMP-PRISK.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise
Licensing Agents in the assigned region.
- Manage
and coordinate assigned regional licensing and enforcement activities.
- Develop
and implement licensing plans and Collecting strategies
- Expand
and develop licensing platforms
- Manage
the productivity of the licensing plans and projects
- Monitor,
review and report on a weekly basis all licensing collection results of
the assigned region.
- Manage
the Societies related operations within his/her region
- Build
strategies for better revenue collection
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor’s
degree from a recognized university with one (1) year experience in Sales
and Marketing or Diploma with at least three (3) years experience in Sales
and Marketing preferably in Intellectual property field or film
industry.
- Good
knowledge of copyright and related rights is an added advantage.
Candidates with vast experience in Sales and Marketing in this area are
highly encouraged to apply.
- Integrity
and honesty with no past criminal records. Good Conduct certificate shall
be a requirement.
