Sales Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities
 
Our client, Atwin Engineering is a fast growing company and has successfully undertaken projects in offering water solutions. Atwin fits and install the most energy efficient systems in place to conserve energy. They survey, design, ,advice and install solar powered pumps, heaters, backup systems, borehole and booster pumps, engines, generators, water desalination(RO)units among other projects.

As part of its growth plans, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Engineering Intern to support the organization’s expansion initiatives. The successful candidate will have skills in customer service, creative, a self-starter and someone with passion in working for an organization that offers water solutions to clients including startups.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions;
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
  • Pitching to clients products or services that satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
  • Coming up with clients quotations and contracts;
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
  • Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
  • Analyzing costs and sales in consultation with Engineer
  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
  • Helping in the design of custom-made products;
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Must be creative with high learning ability
  • Good communication skills
  • High problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Good customer facing skills
