Our client, a Kenya's leading provider of pest control, with expertise to protect homes and businesses from pest problems is looking to recruit a Branch Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Undertake regular TPA & SPA performance
evaluation for colleagues in the branch clearly identifying need areas and
ensuring colleagues are motivated to improve their performance
- Review, and evaluate the work of the service
staff in relation to customer service requirements and service levels with
the aim of advising Management on areas that need improvement, and
initiating actions to improve the same
- Monitor sales targets for each sales team
member, monitor performance and provide strong coaching and mentoring of
the business development team to ensure sales targets are met and desired
sales capability is achieved
- Develop a strong sales culture and create
mechanisms to ensure seamless communication with the head office team
- Ensure that all of the company’s Initial
products and services obtain maximum focus to generate greater market
share within the market
- Be available to attend trainings and meetings
on a regular basis and be able to articulate emerging business trends
& critical issues for resolution and guidance.
- Work with Management and other key personnel
to ensure all business opportunities for the entire region are managed
professionally and that cross selling and cross border opportunities are
maximized
- Coordinate effectively all service delivery
visits, quality assurance checks and customer care activities
- Prepare and maintain a logical timetable for,
and oversee quality assurance checks at customer premises and oversee
effective documentation of QA reports and development of necessary action
plans
- Ensure all service portfolios are accurately
managed and evaluate the satisfaction status of existing contracts, taking
efforts to avert potential terminations to improve client retention
- Develop and deliver frameworks for the growth
of the Nakuru Pest Control service and Sani tact and Hygiene businesses by
pro-actively identifying new and different business opportunities to
provide increased sales
- Undertake SWOT analysis and determine
appropriate business strategy to achieve agreed business KPIs
- Champion market intelligence activities and
report back to management for guidance
- Create and manage an annual business
development plan in liaison with the management team
- Carry out branch risk assessment and champion
SHE for the business. Ensure extra care is taken and adequate precautions
are complied with including proper use of PPE by all.
Professional Skills and Competencies
- Minimum degree in a business field acquired
from a reputable university
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations
management, administration and business development gained preferably from
a service environment
- Good customer service and public relations
skills
- Effective manager able to lead a team.
- Result oriented, energetic go getter ready to
face new challenges.
- A good business understanding of Western,
Nyanza & Rift regions and surrounding regions.
- Good communication skills, superior computer
skills and driving experience of over 5 years.
- Aged between 35 to 45 years. Mature and
settled.
