Bar Supervisor Job in Kenya (30K)

Our client, who provide integrated, customised and adaptable solutions in Facility Management, Supply Chain and Logistics is looking to recruit a Bar Supervisor

The main responsibility is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality of services & assist the operational running of the bar.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Ensure venue opens on time and that they are ready for business.
  • Ensure excellent front of house service.
  • Allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of the venue.
  • Detailed check of deliveries for accuracy and quality of product.
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure the staff meet the standards of the bar, addressing and correcting bad practice where need be.
  • Maintain back of house and cellars to a high standard.
  • Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the venue.
  • Standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift.
  • Pre-empt and actively responding to problems that arise and keeping management up to date.
  • Ensure venue closes on time, end of day jobs completed to a high standard.
  • Staff are signed off promptly, all back and front of house areas checked and secured.
  • Ensure stock rotation is applied when storing deliveries and that the correct storage method is applied to each product.
  • To clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues.
  • Display stock levels should be monitored throughout your shift and replenished as required.
  • Feedback on your shift to the managers and supervisor taking over.
Qualifications;
  • Diploma/degree in the related field.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Have working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes.
  • Possess basic maths skills, ability to handle money and operate a cash registry.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Excellent communication, people and leadership skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 30,000/=plus incentives (Approx. 300 USD)
