Our client, a barefoot luxury boutique hotel group is looking to recruit an Assistant Head Housekeeper.
She/he
will responsible for organizing and coordinating a housekeeping-related
operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and
efficiency.
Key Responsibilities;
- Effective
management of the housekeeping and laundry team.
- Assist
head housekeeper with stock management of all housekeeping and laundry
items.
- Ensure
all guest areas and rooms are always serviced and prepared with care.
- Whenever
necessary, source reliable suppliers and constantly strive to negotiate
the best prices.
- Ensure
that the room stewards assist with all luggage-arriving & departing
guests.
- Ensure
all arriving guests get a brief & room orientation by their allocated
room steward.
- In
the absence of the head housekeeper, assist hospitality manager with
making relative arrangements for lost luggages.
- Fulfil
all relevant month end duties, i.e. stocktakes, recharges, staff
administration e.g. leave management etc.
- Support
lodge manager & assistant lodge manager with all HR related duties.
- Ensure
all risk, safety and emergency procedures are maintained and
followed.
Qualifications;
- Must
have at least 3 years experience as a head housekeeper at a 5-star
operation.
- Computer
literate.
- Excellent
interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good
leadership and management skills.
- Excellent
communication skills.
- Diligence
and self motivation to meet deadlines.
- Must
be willing to relocate.
- Energetic,
proactive, professional and empathetic person.
Monthly gross salary: Competitive depending on experience
