Broad Function:
 Liaison with the Occupational Safety and Health committees to identify hazards, assess risks to safety and health, put appropriate safety controls in place and provide advice about accident prevention and occupational health to Management and Employees.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promote occupational safety and health within the Company and develop safer and healthier ways of working
  • Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks
  • Ensure that workplaces conform with organizational procedures and safety standards
  • Work with other professionals within the Company to ensure safety of worksites and work practices
  • Ensure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets) are used in workplaces according to regulations
  • Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored and disposed
  • Identify and test work areas for potential accidents and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures

Professional Qualifications
  • Be in possession of a Certificate in Fraud investigations.
  • Certificate of Discharge (Read Book for members of the Armed Forces) with a minimum rating of “Very Good”

  • Oversee operations of the water distribution
  • Guide and supervise performance of the staff under him/her
  • Ensure that the distribution network is working satisfactorily and that the Customer complaints as regards lack of water supply and leakages are attended to immediately
  • Identify areas where illegal abstraction of water is happening and reports to the Manager for necessary action.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
 
The Instrumentation Engineer shall be responsible for the following main activities but not limited to:
  • Assist with the development of instrumentation installation drawings, data sheets and specifications, in full compliance with recognized industry standards, safety standards, and various specifications.

  • Receive and analyze the water /sewer blockage works (instructions to do work) and prioritize the work for the day
  • Prepare daily progress reports on work done in the field
