Medical Internship at The Nairobi West Hospital 2016/17
The Nairobi West Hospital founded in
the 1980’s, has grown to become a fully-fledged multi disciplinary
hospital with a 150- bed capacity.
All disciplines are headed by
experienced specialists; and It is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment
and facilities, such as a state-of-the art Cath Lab, 128-slice C.T. Scan
machine, 1.5T M.R.I machine, and Four-dimensional Ultrasound, comprehensive
I.C.U and H.D.U equipped with a CRRT machine, fully-operational Haemodialysis
Unit; just to name a few.
The modular theaters offer students
who are opting for a surgery major to experience an advanced theater under the
instruction of senior specialists.
We hereby invite applications from medical graduates who have successfully completed their MBchB (or equivalent) undergraduate degree and have been recommended to do their rotational internship. Successful candidates are expected to undertake the internship for a period of one (1) year.
