Job Title: Customer Service Support Officer
Reports to:  Project Director
Supervises:  None
Location: Nairobi (Upper Hill)
Salary Range: 35K - 50K 

Our client is a fast growing medium sized firm that offers ERP accounting solutions. The company has been in existence for over 10 years and services clients in the wider east and central Africa. 

In order to continue offering superior customer service experience, they want to strengthen their client service department by recruiting a customer service support officer.

Major Responsibilities
  • Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the problem
  • Offer  information using available resources
  • Follow standard processes and procedures
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications
  • Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Skills Required
  • A Diploma or Degree in an IT Related Course, Business Administration, Sales or any other arts based course. 
  • The ability to think logically
  • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills
  • A strong customer focus
  • The ability to prioritize your workload
  • Good accurate records keeping
