Our client is looking to fill the position of Accountant who will be based in Mozambique;

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups
  • Consult and report to managers any tasks given 
Required Skills and Qualifications and experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance and CPA qualification is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • Experience working within a multinational company with several branches is an added advantage
  • Interpretation of finance data for Non Finance Managers and cash flow management
  • Fluent written and spoken English,and Kiswahili
  • Knowledge of accounting software like Primavera is an added advantage
  • Should be willing to relocate to Mozambique if considered for this position

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Assist Managers in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities.
  • Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet customer expectations and company goals.
  • Liaise between customer and management to ensure smooth operations delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines.

Our client is looking to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Assistant who will be based in Mozambique;

Sales
  • Overseeing Sales on Business to Customer (B2C) & Business to Business (B2B/Corporate Sales) levels.
  • Management of salesforce and B2B P&L / Revenue
  • Growth of the salesforce including geographic expansion throughout Mozambique
  • Ensuring continuous growth in our corporate sales portfolio
  • Creation/Improvement, implementation and management of the sales & marketing commission structure
  • Strategic planning around product promotion and product mix
  • Organizing and spearheading personnel development including regular training of Sales and Marketing staff
  • Formation of close working relationship with our category management, and finance teams
Marketing
  • Management of the functional areas; Events, PR, Advertising, Social Media, Email Newsletter and the affiliate program.
  • Coordinate organization of our client presence at events and important business related functions
  • Work with Mainstream Media and outdoor advertisers to market our client
  • Approve design works for online and offline advertising
  • Prospect for advertising opportunities (online, outdoor, media) in coordination with PR executive
  • Take a lead on projects within marketing department e.g. activations and offline promotions
  • Oversee the our clients PR strategy and offer direction in terms of Company Image

Job Skills, Knowledge & Experience Requirement
  • Degree in Business- Sales & Marketing Concentration. An MBA is an added advantage but not a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years, experience 2 years in a Managerial/ Senior role
  • Relevant work experience in a comparable role in the multi-family housing industry, or onsite in a property management position.
  • Experience in sales and marketing is recommended
  • Analytical skills; (Excel/ CRM Tools/ Computer Software) ability to reproduce excellent management reports on performance of the entire department and analyzing revenue and cost.

The duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to;
  • Formulate pricing policies
  • Ensure pricing is correct
  • Attend trade shows to identify new services and products.
  • Coach, train, recruit and discipline employees
  • Evaluate on the job performance of sales team
  • Identify future and current trends that appeal to consumers
  • Ensure merchandise ready to be displayed clean
  • Approve contracts with vendors

Job Requirements:  
  • 5 years of experience in direct to consumer sales,
  • At least 2 years’ experience successfully fully managing a sales team

  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili
