Our Lady of Visitation is a new Maternity and Child Health Centre situated in Dandora Phase 3 within the compound of the Holy Cross Parish Dandora. 

The facility is run and managed by the Holy Cross Congregation.

The Holy Cross Parish currently manages Brother Andre Dispensary and St. James Primary School. 

The Board is seeking for a qualified and experienced Kenyan citizen who is dynamic, self-motivated and results oriented with high integrity and a proven track record of achievement in the past roles for the position of a Hospital Administrator.  

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Hospital Administrator is responsible for ensuring efficient Health Centre operations and the delivery of quality patient care.
  • He/she will be responsible for oversight and implementation of the Health Centre budget in conjunction with the board
  • He/She will oversee quality improvement of processes for efficient delivery of services in the Health Centre.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for setting up operational standards in the hospital and ensure that they are in line with Ministry of Health and Nairobi County guidelines.
  • The incumbent will work together with the board to implement the facility’s business plan and ensure fiscal viability of the Health facility
  • He/ she will lead the recruitment and retention of staff with oversight from the board
  • Addressing doctors’ needs and ensuring patients’ quality medical care and well-being.
  • He/ She will be responsible for Liaising with Health Stakeholders and County Health meetings.
  • The incumbent will also be involved in press relation and public community affairs on behalf of the facility
  • The incumbent will formulate facility policies for Boards’ approval, and implement approved policies.
  • He/ she will prepare progress reports on an agreed timeline and perform any other task assigned to by the board.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration/Hospital Administration/ Clinical Medicine/ Public Health from a recognized University
  • Knowledge of health service administration, public health or long-term clinical care administration is an added advantage
  • At least Minimum of three to five years of relevant working experience, three of which are in a management position within a clinical facility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Disciplined, self-motivated and able to function competently and productively with minimum or no supervision
