A Meat Processing Company currently
operating an Abattoir in Rumuruti is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to
be based in their Nairobi office.
She/he will be responsible for
implementing the finance policies of the company, financial processing and
monitoring the budget on a day-today basis.
The successful candidate MUST have experience working in a food manufacturing company or FMCG Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise BOD on financial implications of
business activities, and providing leadership to direct reports to the
finance function.
- Controlling income, cash flow, expenditure,
receivable payable and inventory.
- Developing and managing financial systems,
processes and internal controls.
- Budgeting and forecasting on a monthly and
annual basis.
- Accounting, tax and legal compliance of the
business, including computing all the statutory deductions.
- Coordinating interim and final audit.
- Banking and treasury functions.
- Managing all aspects of manufacturing
accounting and inventory control.
Qualifications
- MUST have a financial management post graduate
qualification.
- MUST have a CPA-K / ACCA with at least 8 years
at senior financial position.
- MUST have a financial management post graduate
qualification.
- MUST have prior experience in manufacturing
especially food manufacturing, distribution or retail.
- MUST have an appreciation of commercial
negotiations.
- Experience in initiating strategic plans and
overseeing change.
- Experience in or a good understanding of the
private equity and venture capital industry.
- MUST have an impeccable integrity and
diligence.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully
under pressure.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 250,000 - 300,000/= (Approx. 2,500 - 3,000
USD) depending on experience
