Senior Finance Officer, Linkages

Basic Function: The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for oversight of the financial management for LINKAGES Project in Kenya and will ensure the achievement of all financial control and performance objectives in accordance with requirements of FHI 360 and its funding agencies in coordination with the Project Manager (LINKAGES).

Minimum Requirements Standards:
  • MBA/MA/MS or a related advanced Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field relevant to the position requirements. 
  • At least eight years of experience in financial management for large complex projects, of which at least five years were working in the field of international development. 
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (K). 
  • Professional level of oral and written fluency in English language.
Senior Contracts and Grants Officer, LINKAGES

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Basic Function: The Senior Contracts and Grants Manager will work in partnership with the Project Manager and other staff to efficiently operate and strengthen an effective contracts management services system. 

Principal duties will include support on prime award matters, pre-award and contract administration and professional/managerial support to ensure full compliance with FHI 360 and donor rules and regulations for prime awards and sub-awards. 

The incumbent will report to the Project Manager (LINKAGES).

Minimum Requirements Standards:
  • BS/B.Com/LLB or related field with a minimum of 5-8 years relevant work experience in acquisition and assistance management and related work; or MS/MA/MBA, or LLM, with a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in contracts and grants management and related work.
Administrative Assistant, LINKAGES

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Basic Function:
  • Performs and provides administrative, programmatic and logistical support duties for the project. 
  • Prepares documents and reports, the use of office technology, compiling records, organizing and maintaining files, posting information, greeting/referring/assisting others, mail distribution, and photocopying. 
  • Collects and verifies data, summarizes and reconciles information. 
  • Coordinates and maintains records management. 
  • Serves as a primary resource for assistance in the Project.
The incumbent will report to the Project Manager (LINKAGES).

Minimum Requirements Standards:
  • A Degree in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences International Development or related field. 
  • Typically requires 3 -5 years of programs and administrative support experience.
  • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff. 
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English; 
  • Excellent computers skills in MS Suite. 
  • Prior experience in a non- governmental organization (NGO) preferred. 
  • Basic understanding of key population issues in Kenya. 
  • Experience in office or program administrative procedures.
Senior Program Officer, LINKAGES

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Basic Function: 
  • The Senior Program Officer provides technical assistance and support to programs.
  • Collects, complies, and analyzes information relevant to programs. 
  • Provides administrative and project support, in addition to communication efforts related to program management and execution. 
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations. 
  • Monitors budget for programs and develops monitoring system for reviewing project status.
  • Ensures completion of program while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements. 
  • Develops/Reviews work plans, prepares presentations, and supports other related program objectives and deliverables.
The incumbent will report to the Project Manager (LINKAGES).

Minimum Requirements Standards:
  • Master’s Degree in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Environment, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences International Development, Human Development or Related Field. 
  • Minimum of 5 + years’ experience with program management, cross-cultural communications, US Government rules and regulations. 
  • Substantial experience using computerized information systems. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with key populations in Kenya. 
  • Articulate and professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff. 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in Kiswahili language. 
  • Prior team lead experience preferred. 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
