FMCG Stores Manager – Thika, Kenya
Our client, a well established FMCG Company based in Thika is looking for a Stores Manager to ensure safe custody of processed stocks through monitoring and controlling the movement of stocks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all processed stock issued from the stores is invoiced.
  • Ensure movement of other stocks in and out of the stores is correctly documented per laid out procedures.
  • Ensure proper monitoring and accountability for stocks in line with the laid down policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that physical stock taking for processed stock and the packaging materials.
  • Investigate and provide explanations for major variances identified.
  • Ensure that the cold store is well arranged and items are well labelled at all times.
  • Maintenance of Food Safety according to FSSC 2000.
  • Reconciliation of quantity produced against transferred into the store.
  • Explanation for variances on a daily basis and circulate the report to relevant management.
  • Liaise between production and sales departments on matters relating to stock and sales planning.
  • Supervise all activities of the processed stock and packaging stores.
  • Ensure proper recording of packing material.
Qualifications
  • Must have Bachelors in Business Management / Logistics.
  • Must have over seven years with proven experience in stores management particularly in FMCG sector.
  • Familiarity with logistics accounting procedures.
  • Must be a CIPS member.
  • Proven analytical and warehouse/stores management skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the stores team.
  • A high level of integrity and reliability.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.100,000 - 150,000/= (Approx. 1,000 - 1,500 USD) depending on experience
