Details Description:
 A young dynamic Start-up medical facility is looking for a presentable Front Office Receptionist / Secretary to work in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County. 

Selected applicant must be ready to start working in January 2016.

Occasionally the work routine will entail working at odd hours, weekends and public holidays.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and welcoming clients to the facility in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Dealing proficiently with clients queries and enquires in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintaining safe and clean office and reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Managing office administrative activities such as filing and recording documents and book-keeping in support of the accounting department. This will entail handling and reconciling all petty cash on daily basis.
  • Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently at all times even when the directors are not in the office.
  • A willingness to learn and be trained on various office procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:  

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities
  • Certificate/diploma in secretarial studies.
  • Be well versed with Microsoft Office computer packages: - Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Proficient in cloud computing and use of the internet and social media to generate company profiles.
  • Excellent English and Swahili conversational as well as written skills.
  • Pleasant, mature personality with excellent communication skills and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Hardworking and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Experience in secretarial role in a medical/health facility will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be employed on a 1 year renewable contract term, beginning with a 3 month probation period.
