Summary: Our client is an International organisation that provides technologies and services in more than 100 countries around the world. They are a trusted security provider and advise several governments. 

Job Objective: Our client is looking to Operations Security Officer. The ideal candidate will support the General Manager in strengthening the security of the business. 

The ideal candidate will have full responsibility for all security aspects to the business in the country. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining and continuously improving the security level of all sites and local operations in order to support the commercial and operational business objectives of the company.

Their main  goals will be to ensure that all sites, assets, people, solutions/products, property, reputation and our sensitive data are best protected at all times according to the local legislation and to internal standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify, define and Monitor all potential Security risks and threats, weaknesses and vulnerabilities to our business.
  • Mange all action needed to prevent EHSS risks from becoming realized.
  • Design a security plan according to the standards of the company including (but not only) :  Physical Security, Access Control, Opening & Closing Procedures of sites and high secured zones, Cyber & Information Security, Transportation of Valuables, Inventory, Delivery & Receiving Procedures, Bomb Threat Procedures and more.
  • Define Emergency Operating Procedures and provide emergency Training Program for all employees.
  • Design procedures and execute operational plans for loss prevention.
  • Implement & Auditing the sites and supply chains to ensure compliance with GSCO and GSS standards, policies and requirements.
  • Undertake any investigations involving Security, prepare reports, and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Track and Report all security events and incidents to the GM, GSS, GSCO.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international regulatory.
  • Develop and implement a security awareness program to all employees.
  • Promoting and driving a solid security culture.
  • Define an operational security plan for special events.
  • Define & implement personal protection plans for key leaders, when needed.
  • Build relationships and networks with local law enforcement agencies.
  • Develop, implement, report and execute EHS concept processes and training for all employees and facilities, according the local legislation and internal standards
  • Support and advise the GM on Business continuity program.
  • Monitor and evaluate 3rd party Security suppliers.
  • Prepare the KPI and dedicated report for the EHSS according the company request and rules
Skills and Certification:
  • Demonstrated skills for effective leadership and management, especially with matrix management.
  • Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience to drive and work alone and within a hub in international network/organization
  • Diploma in Security or Management (Advantage) or similar proved and documenter experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience & successfully managing Security Operations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills English  mandatory
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Other Relevant Factors & Skills:
  • Good understanding of Security Technology, concepts, surveillance, personal protection, loss prevention processes and information security.
  • Experience of defining, documenting and implementing security programs, procedures, and reports.
  • Open to Contribute to the Security network by sharing experience  measure, strategies and suggestion to central company and other entities
  • Security professional with proven management experience within the security industry.
