The Agape in Action Academy is
looking to hire a Principal and Vice-Principal starting
in January 2016.
The school is fully sponsored by an
international charity called Agape in Action (www.agapeinaction.com).
The vision and mission of the school are as follows:
- To discover and develop individual talents in
order to live productive, God-centered lives, serving others
- To provide a safe, supportive and God centered
learning environment where students can develop a love of learning, a love
of God, a passion for service and a sense of emotional and physical
well-being.
Essential Criteria
- At least 4 years experience working as a vice-principal
or principal
- A university degree specializing in education
and a currently registered teacher
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to positively lead a team and motivate
colleagues
Asset criteria
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Experience teaching at a private Christian
school
- Experience as a vice-principal or principal of
a private Christian school
- Experience developing and/or implementing
school policy
- Experience working with a nongovernmental
organization
- Experience working with young people outside
of an academic setting
A competitive salary and housing
