Our client fast growing Agriculture & Milling Company based in Arusha Tanzania is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Controller to manage the company’s accounts payable functions.
Our client fast growing Agriculture & Milling Company based in Arusha Tanzania is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Controller to manage the company’s accounts payable functions.
Key Responsibilities;
- Receive and verify invoices and purchase
requisitions for goods and services.
- Coordinate with procurement department to
maintain and update supplier list with required bank/payment details and
contact details.
- Check supplier statements as they are received
and resolve all discrepancies directly with suppliers.
- Verify that all invoices are supported by duly
approved purchase orders and correct authorization procedures were
followed.
- Obtain approval for invoices from appropriate
department heads prior to processing the invoices on the accounts payable
system.
- Prepare and update accounts payable reports
for management review.
- Ensure timely processing of all accounts
payable invoices, cheques and cash payments and prepare reports for
management.
- Coordinate with HR department to prepare
monthly payroll and maintain statutory deductions.
Qualifications;
- Degree qualification in Commerce, Accounting,
Business Administration or related field.
- Must be a CPA (T) Finalist.
- Must have significant experience working in
accounts payable or payroll management.
- Must be honest and trustworthy with strong
business ethics.
Monthly gross salary: Tsh.1,200,000 – 1,300,000/= (Approx. 550 – 590 USD)
depending on experience
