Introduction: The KCCB – General Secretariat is the National Administrative, facilitative and Coordinative arm through which the KCCB implements and co-ordinates various Pastoral programs at the National level and undertakes all those responsibilities which express the mission of the Catholic Church in Kenya.

It is seeking to fill the following key position in its Catholic Health Commission of Kenya – KCCB

Project Monitoring and Evaluation Office
 


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to project staff and health facilities to develop or improve upon project- specific monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Develop and/or adapt Management Information System (MIS) that meets the needs of NCDs and other health programs.
  • Develop strong linkages with relevant collaborators such as the Ministry of Health’s HMIS division and relevant County government departments for reporting and information sharing.
  • Develop an appropriate project data base program to facilitate processing of required information.
  • Verify data by making routine trips to the field to collect and authenticate information.
  • Design and conduct both qualitative and quantitative surveys/studies and evaluations to provide information for efficient project management.
  • Identify opportunities available, such as concrete models and relevant trainings to enhance the M&E capacity of project and health facilities’ staff
  • Provide technical support to colleagues during proposal writing, planning and implementation of project reviews and evaluation.
  • Participate in designing and carrying out baseline, midterm and end-of-project surveys.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring Evaluation
  • M & E certification from a recognized institution.
  • Three years of experience working as a monitoring and evaluation officer in health related projects or organizations.
  • Three years’ experience with developing and maintaining MIS.
  • Three years’ experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative surveys/studies and evaluations.
