Plan International Kenya is seeking
to recruit for the position ofOffice
Coordinator to be based in Mombasa on a 3 year contract and
will report to the OVC Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities and ensure
compliance to policies, guidelines and regulations
- Manage and coordinate vehicles, drivers and
travel for project staff, volunteers and visitors
- To oversee repairs and maintenance of
vehicles, offices, furniture and equipment in the project
- To ensure maintenance of vital records and
produce accurate and timely reports
- To oversee stores management and ensure safe
custody and security of all organisations’ assets and their documentation
- Provide administrative and logistical support
to project staff
- Manage the front office and provide
supervision to the Office Assistant and Drivers
- Responsible for basic booking, management of
petty cash floats and making payments for project support expenditures in
accordance with Plan policies and procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Behaviours
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public
administration or logistics or other related field.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in
administration, logistics and procurement preferably in a similar position
in an NGO.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and
team player
- Good team management and supervisory skills
- Excellent office management skills
- IT/computer skills
- Knowledge of filing and general record keeping
- Pro-active and excellent time management
skills
- Ability to communicate in English and Swahili
