Prevention, Care and Treatment services at County and Sub County health
facilities.

VMMC Data Entry Clerk
Location: Allocated sites in ICAP facilities in Nyanza
Reporting to the Data Manager for
overall supervision, the VMMC Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for
documentation and timely reporting of the program at ICAP supported sites.
Duties and responsibilities:

Collect and summarize paper and
electronic data from sites
·
Support site staff to record and
manage accurate data
·
Assist with compilation of timely,
accurate and complete data reporting
·
Assist in supportive supervision for
data collection and entry
·
Support on-site training on data
entry and reporting
·
Conduct site visits as required, for
troubleshooting data issues
·
Assist with data quality assurance
Requirements
·
Diploma in Health Records and
Information Technology
·
Degree in relevant field will be an
added advantage
·
Experience in Health Records

·
Computer skills including familiarity
with MS Excel & MS Access
Store Keeper
Location: Kisumu
Overall job function: Reporting to the Administrator, Nyanza, and the
Store Keeper will perform manual and routine clerical duties in the receipt,
storage and issuance of materials, supplies and equipment at a storeroom or
central warehouse in ICAP Nyanza.
Key Responsibilities
·
Receiving and inspection of all
incoming materials, goods, supplies and equipment
·
Entering and updating records of
stocks received and issued; maintains order and cleanliness in stores.
·
Issuing materials, consumables,
stationary, tools, job aids, as per the requisition of the program, MER or FAD
staff.
·
Organizing and planning proper
storage locations
·
Tracking material usage of all
supplies issued from ICAP store to ICAP supported facilities and establish
reorder points.
·
Performing monthly counts, year-end
inventory and physical inventory
·
Preparing monthly inventory reports
both at the office store level and the facility level.
·
Assisting in the disposal and sale of
usable items or supplies
Requirements
·
Diploma in Storekeeping. A basic
degree in Business Administration or related field will be an added advantage
·
At least two (2) years relevant work
experience in medical related field preferred
·
Knowledge of MS office Application
especially Excel ,a diploma in storekeeping
·
Practical experience in the receipt,
storage and issuance of large quantities of materials, supplies and equipment
very important
Data Management Officer
Location: Machakos
Overall Job Function: Reporting to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation
Officer- Data Management, the Data Management Officer will provide data
management, support high quality, accurate and timely reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Data entry of routine monthly and
quarterly data
·
Data quality checks against client
data from medical records
·
Compilation of monthly reports
Requirements:
·
Diploma in Health Records
Information/ Health Information Technology
· Degree in
relevant field will be an added advantage
· At least 2
years’ experience
· Familiarity
with MOH data collection tools
· Database
management skills and ability to use statistical software.
Asset Management Accountant
Location: Nairobi with travel to ICAP facilities
Overall Job Function: Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Asset
Management Accountant will oversee and coordinate verification of ICAP assets
in Kenya
Key Responsibilities
·
Custodian of Master Log of ICAP’s
inventory of equipment.
·
Updating changes in the asset log as
per the equipment movement
·
Initiating and follow-up of repairs
for equipment from the regional offices.
·
Coordinating with relevant
departments for a comprehensive assets verification exercise and submission of
bi-annual fixed asset to NY as per the SOP requirement.
·
Advising Senior Management
periodically on assets which need to be written off
·
Follow up on action items raised
during Assets verification exercise.
·
Work closely with procurement during
the distribution of equipment to supported sites.
·
Periodically share the asset status
report with the relevant departments.
·
Control , monitor and account for
asset movement
Requirements
·
Basic Degree in Business related
field
·
A minimum of CPA (II) or CIPS Level V
·
Work experience of at least 2 years
·
Competence in Using Excel
·
Experience in assets management is
preferred
Pharmacy Program Officer
Location: Kisumu with travel to ICAP facilities in Nyanza
Overall Job Function: Reporting to the Regional Director-Nyanza,
the Program Officer-Pharmacy will oversee ART pharmaceutical commodity
management systems and pharmacovigilance in ICAP in Nyanza.
Key Responsibilities
·
Design and implement procedures and
guidelines on forecasting, storage and stock management, procurement and
distribution of drugs at central level in line with national policies
·
Oversee pharmaceutical supply
management, including needs estimation, drugs quantification, procurement and
distribution systems management
·
Support facilities to develop site
specific SOPs for ordering, receiving, storage, issuing and/or dispensing of
antiretroviral drugs and drugs for management of opportunistic infections in
the supported sites
·
Support facilities to develop SOPs
for detecting, reporting, monitoring and management of adverse drug reactions
relating to HIV and other related medical conditions
·
Organize and strengthen an elaborate
and sustainable pharmacovigilance system within the program
·
Work with the health management teams
to support adequate and reliable supply of ARVs, OI drugs and commodities at
sites
Requirements
·
Bachelor of Pharmacy from a
recognized institution. Masters in Public Health will be a desirable advantage
·
At least 3 relevant work experience
preferably with the Ministry of Health in Kenya
·
Registered membership by the Pharmacy
and Poisons Board is mandatory
·
Experience working in a PEPFAR funded
program is desirable
Program Officer - Medically Assisted Therapy
Location: Kisumu
Overall Job Function: Reporting to the Program Director in Nyanza, the
MAT Program Officer will provide day to day technical support in the provision
of Medically Assisted Therapy (MAT) at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga teaching and
referral hospital in Kisumu.
Key Responsibilities
·
Coordinate the Establishment of MAT
services
·
Coordinate in Training and Mentorship
of Health care workers on MAT
·
Assist with Monitoring and Evaluation
of MAT services
·
Assist in development of training
materials
·
Assist with Commodity management
·
Liaise with National and County
partners in implementation
Requirements
·
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from
recognised institution.
·
A candidate with diploma in Clinical
Medicine and Surgery or its equivalent with relevant work experience will be
considered.
