Position Title: Head of Risk - Banking
Description: Reporting to the Managing Director and the Group Chief Risk Officer, the job holder will provide risk oversight to the bank by developing and implementing an integrated risk management framework to identify, evaluate, manage, measure and monitor bank-wide risk management; additionally, will give assurance to the Board and Group, that risks for the subsidiary are identified, measured, managed and reported in line with the country Regulator’s requirements and Group standards.

- Provide leadership for the risk function,
overseeing implementation and functioning of the Enterprise Risk
- Management framework and engaging various
business teams to embed the risk culture.
- Customize Group policies & procedures to
suit the local environment, specifically as regards to strategic,
reputational, operational, market and credit risks as well as Ethics and
compliance.
- Monitor and analyzes risks within the
company's business units and reports on these risks to the Board
- Monitor all operational risk management
activities of the organization.
- Ensure the risk management policies and
strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations and strategic
obligations of the bank.
Position Requirements:
- A Business related Degree preferably in
Business or science related.
- Possession of an MBA, Professional
qualifications e.g. CPAU, CA, ACCA, ACIB and etc. will be an added
advantage.
- 7 years’ broad banking experience with at
least 3 years’ experience as a leader in a risk management function.
- Knowledge of bank-wide business functions/
processes in Operations, Credit, Treasury, Human Resources, IT, etc. as
well as banking products and services.
- Specialized training in risk management and a
strong conceptual awareness of Basel II requirements.
- Strong leadership skills and governance
awareness.
- Excellent communication and project management
skills
- A dynamic, proactive, decisive person, who can
be a change agent

Position Title: Security Manager - Banking
Description: Reporting to the Head of Operations & IT, the
position will be responsible for the oversight of physical security and safety
of Bank premises and assets (Branches, Business Offices, DR site, Document
Archives, Employees, Cash-in- transit, Fixtures & Furniture, Business
Equipment, Vehicles, Computers, and Machinery) and Customer Safety.

- Implement and enforce of Corporate security
policy, standards, controls, processes and regulatory determined
procedures for Physical Security and Safety.
- Develop and execute the annual security unit
Plan and budget within approved limits.
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity
plans, Risk, and Compliance Management & Regulatory Controls for
Business Requirements regarding Security and Safety.
- Carry out physical security surveys in order
to determine lapses and recommend on how to overcome them.
- Relationship Management and engagement of Key
Stakeholders: Head of Operations, Security Services Providers (Guarding,
Electronic Security) Law Enforcement Agencies (Police, Intelligence),
Branch Managers and Statutory bodies.
- Periodically review implement and monitor
security policy as and when deemed appropriate.
- Advice the Health and Safety Committee,
Business Continuity Management Committee (HR, Facilities) on matters of
physical security.
- Drive Security Programs/Initiatives during the
business cycle.
- Incident Management and Reporting of Physical
and Safety matters (e.g. Emergency Responses, Crisis Management,
Investigations, Crime Scene Management).
- Oversight Management of security at corporate
events and the whole Bank through efficient deployment of security
officers and/or electronic security systems.
- Conduct security awareness programme for the
Bank employees
- Prepare and present Security Briefing,
Analysis and Reports to the Senior Management and provide security and
safety advisory to staff.
- Key liaison person with the country law
enforcement agencies on matters of interest to the bank including
investigations and provision of security and intelligence.
- Responsible for the running of Cash in
transport (CIT) services.
- Responsible for the Bank’s archives.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or
Security Related field or Equivalent qualification.
- Master’s Degree in Strategy will be an added
advantage
- MUST have training in investigations or
intelligence from reputable institution.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the field of
Security at management level
- Demonstrated knowledge in law enforcement
- Experience in carrying out investigations
- Knowledge and experience in managing security
in the banking or corporate sector is desirable
- Knowledge in health and safety management

Position Title: Credit Support Manager - Banking
Description: Reporting to Head of Credit, the Job Holder will
formulate recovery strategies on non- performing facilities, develop action
plans on a continuous basis.
Key Responsibilities:

- Reduce non-performing Loans through aggressive
recoveries and viable restructurings.
- Contribute to bank profit through write backs.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and BRB
prudential guidelines on nonperforming debts.
- Implementing exposure/recovery strategies and
action plans for each nonperforming debt for the Bank.
- Minimize recovery cost and time to the lowest
level possible.
- Manage provisions within unit budget.
- Regular customers’ visits and submission of
monthly recovery progress for each.
- Close monitoring of the recovery progress for
loans with lawyers/courts.
- Managing the Credit support team.
- Ensure provisions on all asset classes are
proper and adequate.
Job Requirements:
- Should have a University Degree in a business
related field. Professional qualifications (AKIB/CPA/ACCA) or MBA is an
added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years general banking experience
in the following areas :
