Our client is a market leader in providing consulting services to Mobile Network Operators (MNO’s) and Financial Service Providers (FSP’s) globally. 

Their clients include leading commercial banks, telecommunication companies, SACCOs, microfinance institutions and multilateral and bi-lateral donors. 

With increasing demand for their services, the company intends to recruit an Assistant Manager to join its Inclusive Finance & Banking team in Uganda.

Key Functions will include
  • Support the development and submission of proposals to generate business
  • Author/Co-author thematic publications developed from field experiences
  • Actively engage in marketing activities and participate in Digital media dialogues
  • Participate in business execution assignments and briefing meetings
  • Report writing and data analysis
  • Participate in staff development activities geared and knowledge management
Location: The role holder will be based in Kampala.

Experience:
 The successful applicant will have 2-5 years’ experience within the financial sector.

Qualities & Skills:
 This position requires driven individuals who possess a strong desire to build a career in Inclusive Finance & Banking.

Other relevant skills include:
  • Ability to deliver technical assistance programs
  • Ability to lead small assignments under supervision
  • Ability to build client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
Education: Degree in Banking / Business Administration / Accounting / Economics or related field

Language:
 Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills in English

Salary:
