Job Title: Tally Accountant
Department: Accounts

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares payments by verifying supporting
documentation, and requesting disbursements;
- Maintains accounting controls as per Company
policies and procedures;
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by
collecting and analyzing account information;
- Summarizes financial status by collecting
information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other
reports;
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing
accounting options and substantiates financial transactions by auditing
documents;
- Complies with financial and taxation law by studying
existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and
advising management on needed actions;
- Responsible for day to day accounts operations
- Prepare monthly analysis of operational
expenses against prior month and budget, providing explanations and
business solutions to help mitigate the risks.
- Responsible for timely monthly financial
statements
- Complies with statutory requirement PAYE,
NHIF, NSSF, Training Levy, VAT, Corporate Tax and statutory audit
requirement.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
- Perform any other duties assigned by
management from time to time.

Job Requirement
Educational Qualification
- Must have at least a diploma in an Accounting
or Finance course and or at least a CPA (K).
Work Experience:
- 2- 5 years’ relevant experience in Accounts.
Special Requirements:
- Fluent in TALLY Accounting Software
