Job Title: Senior Debt Collector

Salary: 70K – 120K
They provide asset finance to private
and corporate customers when they are purchasing assets such as vehicles,
machinery, construction equipment etc.
They see to hire a proactive senior
debt collector to be in charge of all debt collection activities of the
institution whilst managing the debt collection team.
Job Key Responsibilities
- To take ownership of debt collection
- Dealing with all repossessions
- Following up with all clients regularly
- Decision making on when to repossess
- Dealing with court orders
- If required visiting clients and scouting
assets
- Addressing ongoing customer complaints
- Preparing debt collection report status to
present to directors
Key Requirements
- At least 4 years experience with debt
collection in banking, credit companies, or similar/ related
companies.
- Degree in Business Management or related field
- Experience with repossessions, dealing with
high and low end customers, dealing with court orders
- Knowledge of proper and ethical debt
collection techniques
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
Word, Excel and Access
- Ability to manage a team
