Senior Finance Officer
 
The Senior Finance Officer will provide leadership and management of the Accounts Payable unit, ensure accountability through good cash flow and balance sheet management and ensure effective utilisation and safe guarding of assets.


Responsibilities include: Provide oversight of accounts payables, asset management, balance sheet management of staff advance accounts and capacity development of supervisees.

Skills required include:
·                     Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field
·                     5 years of experience in an Accounting field.
·                     Ability to analyse a wide variety of data
·                     Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner
·                     Knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes and Sunsystems.
·                     Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.

Information Management Officer
 
Humanitarian & Emergency Affairs (HEA)
 
The Regional Information Management Officer (HEA) will provide support to National Offices to assist, in developing information management tools, design and implement software solutions and implement relevant GIS activities in compliance to both internal and international standards, facilitate humanitarian learning across the region, and provide assistance to the region’s humanitarian knowledge management.


Responsibilities include: Facilitate the collection of relevant information and data from key WV NOs, humanitarian partners, lead the collection and collation of baseline datasets maintain databases based on existing templates, ensure that inventories of the information management systems, tools and products, provide basic GIS support to the regional office in general.

Skills required include:
·                     Minimum of a Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study.
·                     At least 5 years work experience 3 of which should be in emergency response information management.
·                     Strong experience in GIS related software.
·                     Strong experience utilizing graphic design software (InDesign or eq).
·                     Strong empirical knowledge of the humanitarian sector.
·                     Strong commitment to WV’s vision, mission and core values.
