BCS Branch Managers
(Nairobi - 2 Positions)
Function: Reporting
to the Head of Bosch Car Service, this position is responsible for the smooth
operations of the branch and the principal accountabilities are:
Principal Accountabilities
- Overseeing the sales and marketing function
- Managing the customer service function
- Managing branch staff
- Inventory management
- Financial control
- Ensuring safety and security of the branch
assets
- Maintaining the assets of the branch
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in sales and marketing, commerce or
business administration
- At least 3 years experience in a similar
position in the automotive industry
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
BCS Workshop Managers
(Nairobi - 2 Positions)
Function: Reporting
to the BCS branch manager, this position has the overall responsibility for the
smooth operation of the workshop and the principal accountabilities include:
Principal Accountabilities
- Planning and allocation of staff duties and
resources in the workshop
- Maintaining and updating of workshop asset
register
- Ensuring compliance to health and safety
regulations by workshop staff
- Overseeing induction and training of workshop
staff
- Managing and improving the performance and
productivity of the workshop
- Preparing reports
Qualifications & Experience
- KCSE / O-level certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering
- At least 3 years experience in a similar
position in the automotive industry
- Good knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics and
workshop machines and tools
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
- Driver’s license
BCS Workshop Mechanics
(Nairobi - 12 Positions)
Function: Reporting to the BCS workshop manager, this
position is responsible for providing professional services, fitting of
products, diagnosing and repairing any irregularities on customer vehicles and
giving recommendations that will enhance customer satisfaction.
Principal Accountabilities
- Following all BC$ service procedures and
processes when working on customer vehicles
- Ensuring that all fitment and services are
done using appropriate parts, tools and equipment
- Recommending other products and services that
the customer may need
- Maintenance of a safe working environment and
¡n compliance to health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Experience
- KCSE / O-level certificate
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering
- At least 3 years experience in a similar
position in the automotive industry
- Good knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics and
pneumatic machines
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
- Driver’s license
BCS Store Manager
(Nairobi - 1 Position)
Function: Reporting to the branch manager, this position is
responsible for managing all facets of the store and principal accountabilities
include:
Principal Accountabilities
- Utilizing correct and accurate re-ordering
systems
- Ensuring timely procurement of parts
- Negotiating pricing with new suppliers
- Performing basic routine risk management
- Preparing periodical inventory reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate in supplies management or hands on
knowledge of supplies management
- At least 5 years experience in a similar
position in the automotive industry
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
BCS Service Advisors
(Nairobi - 4 Positions)
Function: Reporting to the branch manager, this position is
responsible for welcoming retail customers to the branch or answering telephone
enquiries, responding to their enquiries, orienting them to the company
products and services and providing information that helps customers in making
correct purchasing decisions
Principal Accountabilities
- Understanding customer needs and recommending
appropriate product and service solutions
- Cross selling products and services
- Ensuring correct documentation is raised and
payments are collected
- After sales follow up with customers
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing /
automotive or equivalent preferred
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar
position in the automotive industry
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
- Good knowledge in automobile mechanics
- Drivers license
