Africa Nazarene University (ANU) is an accredited Private Christian University sponsored by the Church of Nazarene International, which follows the Wesleyan Holiness Tradition.

Law School

1. Associate Professor of Law 



(One Post)

Qualifications and Experience
 
Must have:
  • A PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Law from an accredited and recognized university;
  • At least three (3) years teaching and research experience at the university as a Senior Lecturer; or Senior Researcher/Industry experience or equivalent;
  • A minimum of forty eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty two (32) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
  • Supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion, including at least one doctoral student;
  • Attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow.
  • Registered with the relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated classroom skills as evidenced by student evaluation and peer reviews by moderators.
  • Demonstrated evidence of success in some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable organization will be an added advantage
2. Senior Lecturer, Law School

(Two Posts)

Qualifications and Experience
 
Must have:
  • A PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Law  (or Master’s degree qualification in special cases) from a recognized/accredited university;
  • At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years research/industry experience;
  • A minimum of thirty two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
  • Supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent;
  • Registered with the relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated classroom skills as evidenced by student evaluation and peer reviews by moderators
  • Demonstrated evidence of success in some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable organization will be an added advantage.
3. Lecturer, Law School

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:
  • A PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Law from an accredited and recognized university; and be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body. or
  • A Master’s degree in law from an accredited and recognized university (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level in research or in industry; and
  • A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers; and
  • Registered with the relevant Professional Body.
  • Demonstrated classroom skills as evidenced by student evaluation and peer reviews by moderators
  • Demonstrated evidence of success in some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable organization will be an added advantage.

Quality Assurance 
 
Quality Assurance Officer

The University’s Quality Assurance Officer, reporting to the Vice Chancellor through the DVC Academics, will ensure quality is pursued at all levels of the University, interpret and implement quality assurance standards, monitor unusual occurrences, report and follow up procedures periodically.  

The Officer will review quality assurance standards, formulate policies and procedures, ensure students-faculty evaluations and assess the University operations aimed at meeting and exceeding customer expectations in quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in higher education management
  • Possession of PhD. will be an added advantage
