Accounts Assistant Job in Kenya

Our client, a marketing agency requires an accounts assistant

Job Title Reports To: Accountant

Main Purpose of the Job:
 To assist in proper maintenance of accounting records, accurate and timely production of financial reports, timely processing of payments to suppliers, tax authorities, liability settlements and debt control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing petty cash/ imprest payments
  • Recording transactions in the General ledger
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Suppliers management
  • Writing payment Cheques
  • Filing
  • Any other duties assigned by the accountant
Person Specification

Education Qualification and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
  • CPA (Section 4)
Knowledge and Skills
  • Good communication and public relations skills
  • Good computer Skills
Experience
  • At least one year (1) of experience in a busy accounts and finance environment.

Salary is 45k
