Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit the following positions:

Network Engineers
Qualified candidates will be considered for various roles in the following fields 3G and LTE network quality, radio planning, energy specialist in Operations, project management, core network operations and deployment of sites

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 4 - 5 years’ work experience in telecommunication industry
  • Technical knowledge and work experience in 3G and LTE technology
  • Good interpersonal skills

Business Analysts
Role is responsible for specified data management. 

He/She will be charged with data mining and analysis into specified reporting format within given timelines. 

The role is also responsible for tracking trends and advising the business on the same.

Role holder supports on-going review of the overall business performance and analytical evaluation of commercial projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, planning, economics or statistics;
  • 2-3 years’ work experience in data management in a blue chip company in financial analysis, project appraisals, portfolio analysis, costing and conducting analytical reviews.
  • Working knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, DB2, Oracle and other data management systems
  • Professional certification in CPA, ACCA, CFA or C will also be considered
  • Demonstrated in-depth analytical skills with attention to detail, highly results oriented and a team player.

Product Manager
This role is responsible for driving end - to - end delivery of Customer Value proposition for the respective product or segment. 

This entails development of product / segment plans and the coordination these lines through the entire life cycle in order to maximize on revenues. 

The product manager will be tasked to identify opportunities in the market for new product introductions and Go - To - Market strategies to drive acquisition, usage and retention of the respective segment base

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication or related discipline
  • Experience in creative or advertising agency and handling research will be an added advantage

Brand Managers
We are looking for qualified candidates with requisite experience in marketing communications, digital, brand and media management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields
  • 4-5 years’ work experience in marketing directly responsible for brand and media or market communications or digital communication
  • Creativity and innovation

Zonal Sales Managers
This role purpose is to assist the Zonal Business Manager in driving the growth of Airtel Kenya’s Business and indirect generation of Revenue through effective management of Territory Sales Managers, Territory Sales Executives and Channel Partners effectiveness to the retail trade.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-5 years’ solid work experience in sales preferably in Service or FMCG Industry
  • Good presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail

Zonal Business Managers
The purpose of this role is to manage Airtel distribution strategy, support partners and staff within an assigned region by planning and coordinating inter and extra departmental activities in order to maximize sales revenues, grow market share, foster distributor effectiveness through routine review meetings, manage company relationship with regional stakeholders to foster excellent corporate governance. 

Develop and improve skill set for direct reports through continuous coaching and mentoring. 

Maintain close watch on site activity, market dynamics that affect the business and report and keep record on competitor activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6-7 years’ solid work experience in sales preferably in Service or FMCG Industry,
  • Well-honed Leadership skills
  • Good presentation skills and a good business acumen
  • Flexibly and adaptive to change with good problem solving skills
