Credit Manager
 
Duties
  • Provide overall management and supervision of the organization lending portfolio business including credit and risk management to ensure that the business delivers reliable, quality and timely services to clients in a cost effective manner whilst ensuring maximum outreach and sustainability.
  • Participate in the annual operations planning process by setting the business level targets.
  • Train, educate, communicate and advice all staff to ensure high level of product knowledge, sound lending, debt collection and risk management systems, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates the marketing office staff to ensure achievement of financial sustainability, market coverage, client outreach, loan portfolio quality and profitability.
  • Push the business unit towards profitability through cost controls and maximizing revenue generation
Qualification
  • Bachelor degree in commerce/business administration/cooperative management
  • Ability to manage staff and a large portfolio.
  • Outstanding track record in business growth and portfolio management.
  • Business development, marketing and client relationship building.
  • 5-7 years experience in a financial institution.
  • Experience in leadership and a total team player.
  • Ability and willingness to work odd hours, in developing neighborhoods and to travel extensively.

Debt Collector
 
Duties, qualification and experience
  • Following repayments commitments, identifying delinquent loans and calling when loan repayments are late.
  • Updating client’s records, tracking down outstanding loans, contacting clients via telephone and letters.
  • Managing foreclosure, preparing accounts for legal handover, liaising with marketing team on any queries, managing arrears accounts and reconciliation.
  • Preparing customers loan statements and ensuring they reach the customers.
  • Be a graduate with a degree or diploma in business management, commerce, economics or cooperative management.
  • 3-7 years experience in a financial institution in the credit section.
  • A total team player.
  • Ability and willingness to work odd hours, in developing neighborhoods and to travel extensively.
Housing Officer

Duties, qualification and experience
  • Organize, plan and implement training in finance and related activities.
  • Savings and credit programme management, loan origination and appraisal.
  • Group mobilization and capacity building.
  • High level of product knowledge and marketing skills.
  • Computer literate especially in loan portfolio management systems and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work efficiently and with minimum supervision.
  • Be a graduate with a degree or diploma in business management, commerce, economics or cooperative management.
  • 3-7 years experience in a financial institution in a marketing capacity.
  • A total team player.
  • Ability and willingness to work odd hours, in developing neighborhoods and to travel extensively.
