The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and efficient and effective procurement of goods and services commensurate with the stated specifications, compliance with procurement legislation and company policies and procedures. 

S/he will also be responsible for development of the annual procurement plan, advising management on best practices and ensuring value for the organization expenditure. 

Additionally, s/he will be responsible for the safe custody of and proper management of goods.
