Distributors Required
Mumias Sugar Company is Kenya’s
leading producer of Sugar and diversified products which include Ethanol and
Bottled Water.
The Company also generates
significant quantities of electricity.
We are seeking partners who will
aggressively and willingly push our sugar and water into the market within and
outside the country.
The successful partners will
distribute both water and sugar.
Requirements for distributors:
- A warehouse facility of a minimum of 1500
square ft.
- Ksh 10 million working capital
- A fleet of 3 or more delivery vehicles with
satisfactory capacity
- A sales team, including 1 supervisor
- Applicants must demonstrate a high level of
professionalism, sales drive and adopt a pro-active approach to business
- Previous FMCG distribution will be an added
advantage
Applicants should include the
following information with their applications:
- Application letter with a specified market
area and commercial justification
- A list of wholesalers and key retail outlets
in target areas.
- Copies of certificate of incorporation,
memorandum & articles of association and PIN/VAT Certificate.
- Copy of National ID and PIN of major
shareholder
- Audited financial statements for the last 3
years, proof of working capital, access to banking facilities including
bank guarantees
