Human Resource Manager

The Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, the main role of the Human Resource Manager will be  to direct and manage the operations and implementation of the HR functions which include HR policy formulation, HR planning, employee resourcing, recruitment, staffing, performance management, training and development, organizational change and staff welfare.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, review and administer Corporate & Human Resource Management policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop and implement Human Resource Management strategic plans, operational targets, work plans and ensure achievement of the agreed targets as per the set timelines.
  • Drive Human Resource planning and organizational restructuring in liaison with Heads of Departments and in compliance with the approved staff establishment to cater for both short and long-term staff requirements.
  • Effectively manage staff recruitment and selection processes in order to enhance the best practices and in compliance with the approved staff establishment.
  • Manage staff training and development in line with the approved training policy and & Standard operating procedures.
  • Administer and maintain the Human Resource Management Information System that meets top management information needs and which is at par with the latest technology.
  • Develop, administer and advise on a competitive and rational compensation structure that benchmarks with the trends in the labour market.
  • Manage staff welfare & benefits programs.
  • Manage industrial relations, handle staff grievances, participate in collective bargaining agreements and represent the organization in labour related litigation matters.
  • Administer performance management systems, evaluate/review the system and advise the Management appropriately.
Person Specifications/Minimum Requirements:

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management / Social Sciences with a Post Graduate / Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management.  
  • A Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
Professional Requirements
  • Knowledge in Human Resource Management Information Systems.
  • Proven skills in handling Human Resource functions in a large organization.
  • High standard of professional competence and administrative ability required for direction and coordination of Human Resource function.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate HR practices and procedures and make recommendations that benchmark with best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively execute HR Strategies to achieve the main HR objectives that drive the achievement of the overall Corporation objectives.
  • Knowledgeable in Labour Laws.
Minimum Experience
  • At least seven (7) years work experience in a senior Human Resource Management role.
  • Result driven and dynamic person.

Finance Manager

The Role:
 Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall financial and management accounting as well as revenue function of the Corporation. 


The role entails implementation of an adequate accounting system as a means of maintaining sound financial records and putting in place efficient credit management and revenue collection mechanisms.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation and implementation of financial policies.
  • Ensure effective financial internal controls.
  • Responsible for production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Responsible for production of accurate and timely annual financial statements.
  • Liaise with both internal and external auditors for auditing and resolution of audit queries.
  • Responsible for the Corporation’s budget preparation and control.
  • Ensure proper creditors accounts management and payment.
  • Responsible for maintenance of proper financial records
  • Interpretation and implementation of credit policy and other financial policies.
  • Ensure credit control.
  • Responsible for timely and effective invoicing.
  • Ensure maintenance of proper revenue records.
  • Responsible for daily revenue collection.
  • Enforce reconciliation of clients’ accounts.
  • Responsible for proper accountability and daily banking of revenue collected.
  • Responsible for monitoring and resolution of clients’ queries on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for mentoring, training and leading accounts and revenue staff.
Person Specifications / Minimum Requirements:

 Educational Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting option) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Passed CPA final or an equivalent professional examination.
  • Those with MBA (Accounting or Finance option) or Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance will have an added advantage.
Minimum Experience
  • Shown merit and ability in accounting/revenue work for at least three (3) years as Chief Accountant/Chief Revenue Officer or a higher position than Chief Accountant/Chief Revenue Officer in a large busy organization.
  • Show evidence of proficiency in the use of accounting software packages.
  • Show evidence of experience in preparing financial statements, management accounts and budgets.
