The TREE Program has an opportunity for a driver.
Working under the general direction
of an administrator, Study Coordinator and Principal Investigator, she/he will
responsible for the following:
Duties & Essential Job Functions
Transport
Transport
- Pick visitors or the principal investigator to
and from the airport.
- Ensure that the program vehicles do not carry
anyone who is not a study staff member without prior approval of the
administrator
- Keep accurate transport logs for all program
vehicles & motorbike
- Transport study specimens and data files
- Carry out home visits together with designated
study staff
Vehicle Maintenance
- Clean the program vehicles at least once a
week
- Ensure the program vehicles are clean and they
have fuel at all times.
- Check the tyre pressure, fuel gauge, and oil
gauge, daily before driving.
- Ensure cars are serviced in timely manner and
the insurance covers are up to date.
Administrative Duties
- Assist the administrator in purchase of
supplies and equipment
- Pick supplies from the office to the clinic
- Pick invoices from suppliers, post office etc
- Payment of study bills
- Perform any other duties given by
administrator or principal investigator
Qualifications
- College education
- Driving license (includes motorbike riding)
- Certificate of good conduct
- Vehicle mechanical knowledge
- At least 1 year experience riding motorbike
and driving a car
