Role Purpose:  He/she will oversee the conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of technical solutions within the Business Solutions Consulting & Commercial section and support the sales teams within Business Market department to deliver tailor made solutions to TKL’s customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design of customer solutions to address expressed business needs and goals while leveraging TKL’s products and services.
  • Manage and drive innovations by offering tailor made solutions to drive high value sales.
  • Work as a knowledge leader in business, industry or competitive intelligence. Transitions all information gathered during the sales cycle to the business to business team.
  • Scout for business consulting opportunities without any limitations including high end service integration that will generate revenue growth (lead generation).
  • Ensure full support on large and medium account managers on day to day technical enquiries.
  • Deliver professional presentations and demonstrations to customer, technical and management personnel and communicate with sales and product managers regarding customer needs.
  • Investigate new technologies and third party components and innovate new products and services.
  • Identify internal and external partners needed to build end-to-end solutions.
  • Identify internal and external costs and initialize the model adapted to the project business case.

Academic / Professional Qualifications

Position: Strategic Partnership Manager 
 
Reporting to: Head of Business Consulting, Commercial & Partnership

Role Purpose:
 She/he will oversee the conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of strategic partnerships in a bid to offer and increase value added solution to TKL existing commercial offers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation of various initiative cross-functionally, identify roadblocks and provide recommendation for partners
  • Manage TKL strategic partners, maintain relationships at the executive levels and across the organization
  • Develop strategic partnership plan with an eye towards identifying creative initiatives
  • Ensure partners are fulfilling their contractual obligation and TKL is providing the required support.
  • Develop a joint business plan for the Partner that defines each go-to-market initiative with key sponsors from the Partner and relevant individuals from TKL. Quarterly review of the plan with milestone metrics and progress tracking mechanism
  • Oversee effective quarterly closing cycles with TKL partners
  • Develop effective governance to management at Partner and TKL on major deals

 He/she will drive and execute the planning, development and implementation of end to end sales & business development plan for a sustainable growth in revenue and market share growth within the targeted market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by placing products and driving revenues  within targeted customers. Contribute heavily to the overall revenue growth of the sector through aggressive and effective selling of the focus product within Target Market/ Region. Compliments company’s efforts in ensuring the revenue is integral, profitable and translate to cash.

Role Purpose: 
 He/she will oversee consultative selling and retention of existing key accounts within the Assigned Sector as well as conceptualisation, planning, development and implementation of end to end account management plan for a sustainable long-term business relationship between the assigned accounts and Telkom Kenya Ltd. 

Manage customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Account Development: Ensure overall account management and development through account development plans so as to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with a view to maximize the lifetime value of the customer.
  • Key Contact Person: Be the lead point of contact for all matters specific to the customers within the defined account portfolio and develop a trusted advisor relationship with the customers.
  • New Sales Opportunities: Meet and exceed sales targets by developing long-term relationships within the targeted customers and by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Revenue growth: Ensure overall revenue growth within his/her target market list through churn reduction.

He/ She will be responsible for providing administrative support to the business market sales team. 

Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the quote to bill process up to contract management. 

Provide end to end reporting for the business enterprise.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the sales team
  • Receive, inspect and validate all service applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Register all service applications for new orders, relocations, service upgrades, downgrades and changes to customer records onto the system accurately, timely and provide daily update reports on the same
  • Request for vetting and service surveys, and follow through for swift action
  • Issuing invoices to sales teams promptly after  customers sign up for service and successful vetted
  • Ensure  accuracy in billing from the 1st  invoice  to the recurrent invoices
  • Represent Business Market in billing revenue assurance meetings and dispute resolution committees
  • Assist Finance, Audit, Revenue Assurance  Account Managers and Orange Shops with access information on customer files
  • Ensure  validity of contract content/information
  • Ensure the filling of all service applications documents including contracts and LPO to ensure easy tracking management and retrieval process
  • Follow up on ceased contracts with billing team and retention team
  • Provision of e-bill credentials
  • Act as an interface between customer care and business market on service application issues
Academic / Professional Qualifications
  • University Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution

  • A minimum of three years relevant experience is required. ICT bias will be an added advantage.
