Projects Manager Job in Kenya

A Construction company is looking to fill up the Position of a Projects Manager

Key duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Oversee the preparation of quotations and tendering
  • Oversees the development of Bills of Quantities
  • Prepare detailed budgets for the projects
  • Prepare projects work plans
  • Develops work  methodologies for Lee Construction  in line with International Standards
  • Developing quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures
  • coordinate the projects operations to ensure that the work is executed on time, budget, in accordance with the clients requirements and within company policies, procedures and standards
  • Handle correspondence with clients
  • Supervising the Site Agents and Production/Materials Engineer
  • Checking and approving  engineering drawings
  • In accordance with company policies and procedures, evaluates the performance of all employees within the department and assists them in their professional development and growth
  • Planning, recruiting, selecting and providing training for all personnel in the department
  • Supports marketing and sales activities
  • Carries out research  on new products and other methods of production
  • Provide information to customers and members of the public on technical issues
  • Representing the Technical Department in management meetings
  • Any other duties as may be assigned
Qualification and Experience
  • B.Sc, Civil Engineering
  • Registered  as a full professional practitioner with relevant technical professional body for a minimum 5 years
  • Ten years relevant experience with at least 5 years served in a senior position
  • Computer skills – MS office, AutoCAD.
